Meet Our Team
Cooperation from various agencies, organizations and people, is the driving force behind the 12+ Youth Justice Committee. The mian partners involved in the day-to-day running for the 12+ YJC are:
The Ministry of the Attorney General
The Ministry of the Attorney General - Youth Justice Program Team provides support in the areas of guidance and funding.
The Land of the Nipigon Chamber of Commerce
The Land of the Nipigon Chamber of Commerce acts as the sponsoring agency for the 12+ YJC. They offer adminstrative support to the 12+ YJC program.
The 12+ YJC Steering Committee
The Steering Committee is comprised of representatives of the Crown Attorney's Office, The Ontario Provincial Police and volunteers that represent various community stakeholders.
12+ YJC Facilitators
The 12+ YJC program boasts a signifcant number of volunteers that are enthusiastic about the opportunity to give to their community. Representing the different geographical areas served and coming from various organzizations and backgrounds, they truly represent the diversity of the communities we serve.

Mission Statement
The 12+ YOUTH JUSTICE COMMITTEE is a not-for-profit program dedicated to empowering victims of non-violent crimes and educating youth at risk through a restorative justice process.
Vision Statement
The 12+ Youth Justice Committee is a not-for-profit volunteer-based program that provides quality, confidential restorative justice and related programming with professionalism, respect and dedication to youth and community potential.
